We are supported.

And know that there is no punishment for honoring these experiences (there is no punishment, period). On the contrary, we are most supported when we are operating in one of our highest frequencies — in this case, truth.

After spending some much-needed time in nature over the past week, I found myself in awe of the lush greenery that so effortlessly displayed its beauty after weeks of generous rain baths here in Los Angeles.

It reminded me of how supported we are, even when life feels like a torrential downpour. It reminded me of how useful the downpour truly is. When we lean into it, the bounty is on the other side.

January was a stark reminder that spirituality isn’t about feeling good all the time. We all know this intellectually, but it can still be tempting to turn away from feelings of discomfort, fear, even anger without getting curious and examining the source, making use of it. We might even begin to judge ourselves when we let these feelings linger.

If this is you, let this be your reminder: Our anger is valid and useful. Our grief is valid and useful. Our frustration is valid and useful. Even our fear is valid and useful.

And know that there is no punishment for honoring these experiences (there is no punishment, period). On the contrary, we are most supported when we are operating in one of our highest frequencies — in this case, truth.

So, whether it’s something happening in your personal life, in the world around us, or both, I wish you the courage to feel it all, and to channel those feelings into your words, into your art, into your passions, your practices, until those feelings transmute into the highest frequency of all — Love.
