We are unstoppable.

If I’ve learned anything over the past year, it’s that it is not our unbridled movement that makes us unstoppable. Rather, it’s our willingness, especially in the midst of chaos, to move slowly and intentionally.

“Only I can stop me.” This is the mantra that landed on my Spirit earlier this month as I watched nature reawaken all around me and allowed myself to do the same.

It came at a time when I found myself coming up against some limiting beliefs alongside a list of potent calls from Spirit. Yet, the answer wasn’t to push through. Rather, it was to be still, and to listen.

If I’ve learned anything over the past year, it’s that it is not our unbridled movement that makes us unstoppable. Rather, it’s our willingness, especially in the midst of chaos, to move slowly and intentionally. To allow ourselves to be so in flow with the rhythm of nature that we become more discerning of our own, and we remember that we, too, are infinite. It is to practice deep listening so that our cadence ebbs and flows in co-creative partnership with Source.

Just as the flowers and trees know when to bloom without force, we too possess the inner wisdom to do the same. This is our sacred role as one small, yet vital, part of the whole.

So allow this new energy to propel you forward, but also know that we are perhaps most unstoppable in our commitment to faith. On our best days, faith can feel like we’re being buoyed by Spirit, and on our worst, a confrontation between what we know and what we see. In these moments, let faith be your salve to the feeling that someone or something may pass you by. Let faith be the salve to your temptation to settle.

So when I say, “only I can stop me,” it is not a nod to pre-2020 hustle culture. Rather, it’s a call to be radically in tune with and accountable to our inner wisdom, to move with discernment, and to answer the call, knowing that we are supported, always, in all ways.
